The Break Room at FAU High School marked the beginning of Minds Over Matter's mission to bring student-led mental health support directly into schools. As our first chapter, it was created to provide a safe, welcoming space where students could learn about mental health, develop healthy coping skills, and build meaningful connections with their peers.

Through interactive workshops, engaging activities, guest speakers, and open discussions, The Break Room empowers students to prioritize their well-being while fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and support. The success of our founding chapter laid the foundation for Minds Over Matter's continued growth, inspiring the expansion of additional school chapters and extending our impact to even more young people.
