Who we are
Minds over Matter is a non-profit organization founded by two Florida Atlantic University High School students who are dedicated to educating and enhancing the mental health of our youth, motivating our peers to become trailblazers leading the way to educating their academic community in the field of mental health, and supporting local mental health services. At Minds Over Matter, our mission is to empower young people by fostering open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma, and creating supportive communities. Through student-led initiatives, safe spaces, and advocacy, we equip youth with the tools and confidence to prioritize their well-being and support one another. By raising awareness and funding for vital mental health resources, we strive to build a future where every young person feels heard, valued, and empowered to thrive.
