Increase Mental Health Awareness and Literacy

Minds Over Matter had the opportunity to lead a workshop at the Minds Out Loud Student Event, focusing on increasing mental health awareness and literacy among young people. Through an engaging presentation and interactive discussion, participants explored what mental health is, why it matters, and how understanding it can help reduce stigma, build empathy, and encourage early support-seeking.

Our workshop empowered students with practical knowledge, challenged common misconceptions surrounding mental health, and introduced everyday strategies for supporting both themselves and others. By fostering open conversations and providing reliable resources, we helped create a more informed and compassionate community where mental health is understood, prioritized, and openly discussed.
