Minds Over Matter participated in Florida Atlantic University's WAVE Program, an entrepreneurial experience designed to help students transform innovative ideas into impactful ventures. Throughout the program, our team worked closely with business professionals and industry mentors who provided valuable guidance on strengthening our nonprofit's mission, strategy, and long-term sustainability.

As part of the program, we attended entrepreneurship workshops and networking events, conducted customer discovery interviews to better understand the needs of the communities we serve, and developed a variety of professional materials, including a research abstract, pitch deck, promotional video, and advertising poster. The program challenged us to think critically, refine our vision, and communicate the impact of Minds Over Matter in meaningful ways.

Through WAVE, we gained invaluable skills in leadership, innovation, and nonprofit development while building a stronger foundation for expanding our mental health initiatives and creating lasting change in our community. Our efforts were recognized with the First Place Community Engagement Award, honoring the impact of our work and our commitment to improving youth mental health through service, education, and advocacy.
